How to Recommend Someone on Tumblr

One of the best compliments a Tumblr user can give to another Tumblr user is a recommendation. A common task on "Tumblr Tuesdays", enough recommendations can land someone on their category's directory page.

   Log in to your Tumblr account. If you don't have one, you can easily sign up for a free account with little information needed.

   Go to the directory. The link for the directory is located on the top of the Tumblr page, between "Dashboard" and "Goodies". You will be directed randomly to one of the many categories Tumblr allows recommendations in.

   Click Recommend. You will be directed to a page with a drop-down menu and a grid of categories and bubbles.

   Select the blog you wish to recommend. Read the list of categories.

   Select one you feel best matches the Tumblr you'll be recommending. Check the final box, and click "Recommend".
